I have a few queries regarding Online Oreders (India)

Hello, I've been wanting to buy the new Nokia 6.1 Plus but I am unsure if I should buy it online or wait for it to hit the retail stores. I have some questions regarding Online Orders,

- Will the phone be directly shipped by Nokia or will it be shipped by some third party vendor?
- What shipping company will it be shipped through?
- Is there any guarantee against damage or theft during shipping?
- What happens if I receive a damaged product?

It would be really helpful if someone could provide me the information. Thanks.

  • If you are buying from Flipkart, then they will use their own courier.

    If you are buying from Nokia, then also they will dispatch through their own signed courier.

    Manoj, I am from Bangalore. I ordered from nokia website. Received through delhivery courier in three days without any hiccup. If you have experience with flipkart you can go-ahead with that. I ordered my first lumia 520 on flipkark and received damaged product. After a clear explanation, Flipkart accepted and exchanged with new one, till this day that works fine.

  •  ya, you are right. mine is 6.1+. there is no mic/speaker issue, it is very clear. as an existing asus user, i am missing few important things, the battery is not withstanding more than one and half day, no battery-full / new message arrival indication, call recorder is not there. Product size is handy, good build quality. 

  • I've ordered my device Nokia 6.1 Plus from Nokia.com on 2nd oct 2018 and paid using a debit card. 24hrs have passed and there is no initiation of my package nor any delivery related message have been sent to me. On Nokia.com it just says - ORDERED. The toll free customer care no. is also not rechargeable. Someone please help or suggest me a solution.

    I'm seriously worried of my package and the money I've paid to order it.

    I didn't order the package from flipkart as I trusted Nokia's site more than that of Flipkart.
  • I ordered on 1st October. Called at customer service on 2nd but they were closed due to Gandhi Jayanti. On 3rd, at evening I received message and email from Nokia that it has been shipped with consignment number. I just checked status (4th morning) and found that it’s in transit and progressing well.
    So Don’t be panic or worry as it will you message once delivery is in process. Or you may just call them and discuss about it.
  • don't worry. you will receive an sms from nokia. from there your usual communication will start. that's what happened to me.
