October update not available yet why?

Hey, I'm using Nokia 3.1 and last month I've updated my Phone to Oreo 8.1.0
But it's 2nd last of october and still security update for this model is not available why? #HMD had promised that every Android one phone will get monthly security update and atleast 2 major android update. But they are not on their own words still too far.

    Lucky you... I am still on android 8.0 and august security patch in Portugal. Nokia never again

    Android 8.1 for Nokia 3.1 is rolling out in Bulgaria today.

    Still no October or November Security Update, in the US with TA-1049, but at least there's a "00WW_0_46E_SP02" October SU listed. Be nice if they rolled it out to me. Has anyone else gotten it?

    Just for clarity, when Google rolls out their master Security Updates publicly, they reveal critical security flaws to the world. Hackers have had since 1 Oct to write attacks for Android 8.1, and Nokia/HMD Global has had since 1 September to write and release the 1 Oct Security Update (~10 weeks.) They've had ~6 weeks (and hackers 2,) to get the November SU onto our phones.

    Sure, it's better than actually abandoned cheap phones with other companies, but I think most of us expected Nokia's Android One phones to ship Security Updates the month they were revealed, and I that's happened exactly once for TA-1049 since release in July.

    I really like this phone, but I hope they do better.

    My Nokia 3.1 Android  8.1.0 Oreo update and 6 month security patch update ( TA.1070) ImeI number 353382091438221 I'm using Nokia 3.1 and last month I'vey Phone to Oreo 8.0.0

    To be honest I have had better update regularity on my old Sony Xperia Compact X and Compact XZ1 and they weren't Android One, I truly think Android One idea is a lemon if the companies can't be bothered to stick to their own moto of pure secure and up to date.
    not truly pure, not truly secure due to lack of monthly updates which also means not up to date...regardless if this is a low end phone, it is an Android One device....so they aren't delivering on their promise or selling an honest product.
