Why I can't update my mobile

Dear sir/mam,
I have  OS 8.o and security patch is February 2018 and now my phone shows your mobile is updated now how can I update it

    Hey dear try this.....

    1.go to setting....App notification......App info....google  play service.....Do force stop ....Click uninstall update....Then clear data.
    2. Same in play store app.

    When you only gmail id is affected .Need sign in again needed.

    Pls. Reboot ..

    After reboot


    Open play store
    Add mail id

    Wait for update 10min. When updated play store as well as google play services.

    The question was about the person's phone security update, not Google play update, so this question isn't answered.

    I know dear,

    But sometimes google play services cresh. I don't know why.

    But its true for me. All android service base on play services. I mean lots of app using play services including update.
    So sometimes you need play service.
    If other person got update and you don't. Please try my step.
