Smart Lock does not work/ disappeared after the last update. How do I get it back? 

Go to Settings > Security & location > Trust agents; disable Smart Lock and restart your phone. After the restart enable Smart Lock again and your Smart Lock should be up running again.

 

Why are there no specific Nokia built in apps?

Nokia 6.1 is part of our ‘pure, secure and up-to-date’ pledge. This means providing a ‘pure Android’ experience, without any pre-installed apps or skins. Our consumers can pick exactly what applications they want on their phones.

 

 

When do I get the new Security Patch?

Google’s Security Patches are released monthly and depending on the hardware in your phone. As these releases have specific hardware dependencies, we will need to ensure your phone is fully supported before we can test and release those to the operator. Once the quality has been assured, the Security Patch will be delivered to your phone. Due to this, the Security Patches are dependent upon your device model, operator and also your location.

 

Is Nokia 6.1 part of Android One?

Yes

 

What are the benefits of Android One?

 With Android One your phone is guaranteed monthly security updates for at least 3 years after the initial phone release.


I still haven’t received an update, even though it was announced. What can I do? 

Software rollouts are a phased process so the timing of Android upgrades will vary by country and operator. In case you haven’t received your update yet, get in touch with our support team to learn more about it.

    VoLTE Support for German Carriers would be great. My Provider (Deutsche Telekom) said that the device vendor must include the IMS settings for VoLTE :/
    Please add these settings.

    I bought brand new Nokia 6.1. the issue is that it's vibration isn't working. I have turned it on from settings. Even tried to do factory reset but it was of no use. Kindly help.

    After November patch update my volte service s are not working please update as early as possible fix the bugs

    Nokia6.1 not charging properly since android pie update, contacted support and the forums. Only "fix" is to let the phone die and then you can charge it once. Not acceptable, no word from Nokia on this. Needs to be fixed in the next week at the latest or I'm never buying Nokia again. Certainly won't be recommending. Glad I got insurance.

    I too had this problem soon after the update, force restarting the device by pressing volume up and power button together worked for me.

    Why does my phone hang and turns  off to restart after gew minutes or more when I plug to the charging point.. ?

    Hi
    My Nokia 6.1 just went dead while charging. Am unable to get it started and it does not respond to charge. It has been 4 days now and still nothing. I have tried all ways to get it started including holding down the volume and power buttons but it just remain cold and dead. Any one out tuere experiencing this? Grateful for any help.

    When will we have LDAC codec for bluetooth? My Sony speaker supports it, but with my Nokia 6.1 it only play with AAC, trying to change to LDAC in dev option does not work. I have the latest Pie release.

    With Android 8.1 VoLTE and VoWiFi have been offered in the settings of my Nokia 6.1 (Germany O2 SIM-card) but after the upgrade to Android 9 both settings have gone.

    Please restore that functionality. Fallback from LTE to GSM for Voice-Calls is really not up-to-date anymore.

    I have Nokia 6.1 TA-1043 with Pie  and the Miracast do not work. I have only Panasonic Viera smart tv and with Lumia works. 
    Sad about situation...

    Airtel volte support is already there. Please update your phone to latest service pack.

    Screen gets activated while on call. Call gets on hold or goes on mute all the time. Proximity sensor is not working properly.

    Hi everyone, I have a Nokia 6.1 32GB (TA-1043) with Android Pie (latest update : Jan 2019).
    Since this week-end, I have an issue : I don't receive my notifications (SMS, e-mails, phone calls), I need to check the application to see if had a SMS or a call and so on. I tried to clean my storage - I have 27.94GB used on 32GB now - restart my phone but the issue is still here. I check the preferences, the notifications have been activated.

    Do you have any idea about this issue please?

    Edit : issue solved. I was on "do not disturb" :D
