  First of all i would like to focus on the positives...overall the beta version was quite impressive but what I found was in the camera there was only Google lens which was added and there was no ar core and not even the mirror image in the front camera and Moreover face unlock was missing and the main menu didnt have the bottom home button and there was no adaptive battery feature and no camera update ...if those stuff are added then it would be amazing

  I only want to point out that after the update the Nokia 8 feels a little bit faster and more responsive to touches and swipes on the screen. It may be just me, but I am pretty sure it is smoother. For things that I don't like I will probably write in a few days.

  You don't need to register again... Kindly request for OTA and go to settings and check for the update and download

  It seems the tweet of @nokiamobileru is true. There are many missing features of Pie on this beta update including the promised new camera App. Juho Sarvikas should better not attempt to play games with users of Nokia flagships. He should release a true beta of Pie for proper review by its testers because if this tweet finally happens to be true, no one will trust HMD again

  Same here (disclaimer: I only tested the regular camera mode and Night Sight, not everything, but those two at least work still just fine).

  Why is there no digital wellbeing in Android 9 for Nokia 8 and also we were promised a new camera app and face unlock with Android 9 and have gotten non of those

  @cri347 I know that Evenwell seem to be the ones who make (or package) most of the apps for HMD. I know HMD have some software engineers but I presume they're mainly involved in the testing side before certification/approvals etc. I did try to find out a bit more about this in Dubai but didn't have enough time...

  It has restricted access but everyone who is registered as beta labs tester should be able to access it Little heads up: it just works when you have used the same account for beta labs registration and the forum. If you have done that and still have problems entering the forum please give me a PN or tag me in a post then I can have a look at this.
