Face unlock missing and blank SmartLock screen

Hi,
I am using Nokia8Sirocco.
Suddenly my face unlock has disappeared and now lock screen only asks thumb/pattern.
On checking SmartLock settings - page appears blank.
Trusted agent contains SmartLock.
If I remove the trust agent, and restart the phone, and again add it - it works till phone is not restarted
Is it an Android bug or Nokia bug ? Could you guys please get it solved ?

    Hello, this is a known Android bug. This issue is also present in other phones like Moto, Oneplus etc. including Nokia. Maybe this bug will be resolved in the upcoming Pie update. There is no permanent solution to this problem as of now.

    Hi, I am sorry you are experiencing this problem.
    Please try a soft reset, firstly please ensure your device is not charging. You can perform a soft reset by pressing the Power button and Volume UP button simultaneously for at least 10 seconds, release them when you feel the phone vibrate and you see "Powered by Android" on the screen.

    Go to Settings > Security & location > Trust agents; disable Smart Lock and restart your phone. After the restart enable Smart Lock again and your Smart Lock should be up running again.

    I've tried it already.
    It works till phone doesn't gets off/restarted, After that same issue again pops up...

    It works till phone doesn't gets off/restarted, After that same issue again pops up.

    Hi dhananjaytalekar, it's an Android bug. After most of the updates, it's happening again and again.
