    @munnasharma Nokia 8.1 have Gorilla Glass 3 Protection.Nokia 8.1 comes with IP54 certification which means Dust and Water protection.Check your questions on

    I just received mine today. It is Blue-Steel colour.
    The Phone is 'Superlative'. Classy, Elegant, Beautiful etc. etc. Worth it. Works well. Didn't play any games though.
    It is slightly slippery to hold. A soft TPU cover should have been included in the box. I have ordered a Transparent back cover already.
    There is no word on free offers yet, I hope to get some info in my mail/post in coming days.
    Excellent phone.

    Is the protection specification quoted anywhere on Nokia official website?, if not then it's not trustworthy
    Absolutely.... Seems like same as 5.1 plus no protected glass bundled. Serious hardware flaw.

    This is the answer from Nokia chat support ,there is no Gorilla glass protection

    Thanks for the info.... Wouldn't buy it or recommend. Many features... Lot of advertisements... Lot of tweets.. hypes, but not providing a basic protection is just like throwing money in dark.

    @wyk Nokia 8.1 has gadget360' camera ratings is low as compared to Nokia 7 Plus due to sometimes over exposure problem on front camera.Nokia 7Plus has 3800mAh Battery,Full HD Display 18:9 and Not having HDR10 display So that's why it's better battery life.

    Nokia 8.1 is just having SD 710 & HDR10 comparing to 7 plus.... But still cant compromise these with corning gorilla glass. .. At least sratch protected glass. & u knw at the end of day battery matters a lot. So except those said features i would like to say it's downgrade.

    Yes I saw the video and Juho said sculpted glass but again he could have thrown a bit of light on durability of it,not that it's going to be anything cheap from them but still some information would have been good

    @wyk @munnasharma @mehtasameer2087 Watch Nokia 8.1 Durability Test On Following Link.Both Front and Rear Glass isn't allow to scratch on it easily.Nokia 8.1 glass is scratch proof✔️ ,Bend Test ✔️,Water Test ✔️,Main Glass 6 feet drop test ✔️(Even PocoPhone F1,OnePlus 6T failed),Back Glass10 feet drop test ✔️.Go and Check Video On Gupta Information.

    @nitin kachare I saw it on gupta information youtube channel.Its quite interesting to see Nokia 8.1 servived 6 Feet.Back Glass also servived 8-10 feet.Amazing.

    Hope.. It's fine.... But HMD should clear the logic behind glass protection. Practical experience always differs from video. ..& the surface not always tiles..  😆

    I bought my nokia 8.1 three days back and today i found a dead pixel on my screen. Nokia was boasting a lot a about its screen and display but this kind of problem and that too within a couple of days is not acceotable.
    Can you please help me out here and tell me what should I do??

    How to check for dead pixel,?
    The phone is in warranty get it replaced from service centre

    It's price is too high in my market u guys r provide us Nokia 5.1+ that appreciable in all respects either performance or price of the phone but this phone is too cast u have to think about it as well as 7.1
