@nimisha gupta you can see the difference in the sky .. the sky is blown off in the 2nd pic .. I didnt really find any issue with the rear cameras.. There can be a difference in opinion.. I just shared mine
Not blown out that's how the scenario was and I did increase the exposure that has to over exposure during +2 and if you can see at 0 exposure light is low as compare to natural scenario. Hopefully upcoming update will sort out everything.
For me ,I liked the first pic than the 2nd pic.. But as you say that the 2nd pic looks more natural as in real life then surely we do need a fix for the back camera too.. Btw thanks for mentioning this bug ,I am gonna test it myself @nimisha gupta
Hello, all of you - what's your thoughts on snaps taken indoor lighting conditions that is under incandescent/flouroscent lamps. Do you all think it's doing great as good as outdoors without loosing it's much details??. Sometimes I feel it's sharpening image or over saturated when you zoom in. Also I feel OIS/EIS should handle them well even it's shacky. What you guys think on??
Nokia 8.1 is seriously the best phone I have ever used. I had a Motorola moto G5 plus before this which my little cousin killed by drowning it in a bucket of water😁😁. My friends and colleagues then started asking me which phone I am plan on buying next. When I said Nokia, I heard comments like" Nokia is gone bro, it is dead. Buy the Pocofone, Buy a oneplus 6t, buy xiaomi redmi phones etc. And I told them that I am not interested in these chinese brands. They might have a Ram or Processor powerful enough to launch a spaceship or a camera which can see even microorganisms. I just dont care.
I had long ago decided that my next phone will be from the legendary Nokia. I decided to wait for the release of the 8.1 and made sure to watch the live launch held at Dubai. I booked the 8.1 as soon as it sale went live on Amazon and got it the very next day.
I have been using the phone for a month now and I have lost count of the heads this phone has turned. The same people who wanted me to buy anything but Nokia are praising the phone. "WTF, which phone is this!!!" "With phones like these, Nokia will soon be the market leader it was". are the statements I hear now. People love the design, the OS, the clean UI and the performance. I haven't the changed the Nokia ringtone and everytime the phone rings, a wave of Nostalgia rushes in.
I was at a family function and my relative thought I had an Iphone X. He asked me which variant of Iphone X it is. I told him proudly that this is the Nokia 8.1.
He then said that if I hold it in a angle I can make people think that I have a Iphone X. To which I replied, "What if I don't want people to think I have an Iphone. What If I want people to think I own a NOKIA. 😁😁
I had thought that I would have to answer all the fans of these Chinese brands again. But NO, my phone is shutting them on its own.
Overall, 1. Great phone 2. Clean Stock Android 3. No bloatware 4. Excellent rear camera 5. Fast Charging 6. All day battery( thanks to the clean OS again) 7. Built like a tank. 8. Splendid display.
Cons: What cons?
Compared to chinese brands?? Yes, Nokia might not have the specifications a chinese brands has at the same price point. But then, China has always made copies of Great things. They have copies of luxury cars as well. They have their own lookalikes of Range Rovers, Fortuners and what not.
So, do you think owning the original is the same as the duplicate ones China makes. The same is the case with Nokia. So don't ever make a comparison of a Nokia phone with a Chinese brand.
Go for a Nokia phone and you will never be disappointed. 😍 Thank you Nokia for coming back. 🤩🤩🤩
@Narayanan.R don't get your point. Can you please elaborate it more?
I'm talking about back camera.
Yeah both front nd back over sharpening, also both cameras need updates as soon as possible. I don't know but I am not satisfied with camera performance, I don't know much about ois and eis but something is missing in cameras.
I purchased Nokia 8.1 21st December today it completed one but it start showing couple problem such as battery stop charging sometime and also hanging so much
How to delete cache of all the apps in a one go, i dont want to use any 3rd party app...
In my previous mobile, there was a dedicated cache tab in storage but i didn't find any in this mobile...if anyone knows, please help!
Rishabh - You can try Google's Files Go app which I think it's useful for you to clear temporary files at one point. There's option called Junk Files under clean.
Files app by Google doesn't clear all the junk files ..

Wow bro rajathsshetty .. you spend so much time to write all this .. well you did express my exact feelings too.. Chinese brand may get you the best processor ,better camera but they can never be as awesome as NOKIA is...
Using a Nokia 8.1 (Iron Colour) since a month. It is a compleys Nostalgia in every aspect. The camera is better than OnePlus 6T and stock AndeoAn experience is amazing. Check the attached image sample taken from my Nokia 8.1 rear camera.
