@Narayanan.R what issue have you been facing with rear camera? Over sharpening?
I feel slight sharpening over objects sideline as well as some dull effect when you zoom after captured in low lighting situations say inside home. Basically loosing some detail.

yeah it's really good. Those photos are captured at outdoor lighting conditions. I'm talking about in indoors.

Face unlock option is available on Nokia 8.1. You can find it in settings-> security & location--> Smart Lock--> Trusted Faces.
There are some other Unlock methods too along with that.
This is complete dark. An another shot focusing any particular object in indoors under some mild lighting would do the justification I feel. Also is there any settings to tweak in pro mode. Bcoz the dark area in your snap is perfect without any grains that I usually seeing.
hey guys need you help just keep your opinion which picture looks better, it's imp. I'm very confused regarding this. @nitin kachare@Argho Sarkar@Narayanan.R@nitheesh@madbilly@wyk and all the 8.1 users. It would be very helpful if you please give your little time here.

Acc to me, the second pic looks better. It is vibrant, has better colour and shadows. Was the first one taken with HDR off??
Try using a slower shutter speed for indoor shots... U can also try varying the exposure levels @Narayanan.R
I tried shutter speed at 4 then the snap I got even bright at indoors. It took 2 to 3 mints to click the snap after that it's a bit shaky even when I kept steady.
Exposure level is hided at slower shutter speed. Any suggestions please??
@rajathsshetty well, I agree but the issue is that 2nd pic has been taken with +1 exposure and another less bright one has taken from pro without did any change in settings so overall I want to say that normal pics should come like little more bright without doing any exposure increase ( beacause if you see 2nd pic looks more natural as it was how the scenario in real, in 1st pic it looks more of a cloudy weather but the sun was high today and picture should come that way but it doesn't with normal pro/photo mode, you have to increase the exposure to make it natural) we need rear camera update as well.
@Narayanan.R dude, you were right even I find that when you take indoor pictures details are not like outdoor pictures, it loses resolutions when you zoom it out, here I have taken few pics You tell me your opinion regarding these pictures. I thing it's not as good as taken from outside and last pics loses resolution and 1st pic has taken with zooming so it also loses resolutions alot.
1st one taken from Google camera app with flash off and second from phone camera with flash on... I amazed by the result, how better Google camera takes pictures.. wonderful. And last picture without flash from phone camera ...Nokia can be have google camera for both front and rear.? @HMD_Laura@matteo.m #nokia8.1

Yes. I have had this thought too. Since Nokia is an android one device and every app on the phone is from Google, Nokia shud have done the same with the camera application too. I have heard that the Google Camera has the best picture processing algorithm. Where did you download the Google Camera app from??

Shutter speed of 4 might let in too much light. I had posted one pic of the night sky a few days back. That pic was taken with a shutter speed of 4. Since it was pitch dark at that time, the clicks came pretty good. Had used the same speed for a nearby light source and all I got was a white screen. Try experimenting with different combinations until you find the right one. Even in the normal mode, one can achieve the right brightness by moving the point of focus of the camera.
