I am from India, where we hadn't received Pie OTA. I installed Pie manually, only to discover that Google maps wasn't working all that good. So I manually downgraded back to Oreo, and am quite happy with the way things are. I suppose HMD is ironing out all the wrinkles from the Pie after receiving so many complaints. I will wait for the OTA...1

@imchandu03 I'm not sure it's so easy to rollback to Oreo after manual installation (if possible at all), I remember reading from an Indian gentleman that he struggled quite a lot to rollback!

@imchandu03Stay on Oreo! It's stable.
You see in the forum that there are only problems with Pie.

I don't think it's difficult to update 8 to Pie because Nokia just announced pie for 5.1plus and 3.1 plus .I think the initial reports about them delaying it to increase 8.1 sales is true and they only care about money3

Does any one know how to roll back to official oreo0
-
@RaveVII You CAN buy the Nokia 8.1 in Germany. Also, THAT can't be the problem for introduction of a "good" Android Pie for our Nokia 8.0
