Nokia 8 Randomly Restarts and Sound Problem

I bought Nokia 8 in January 2018. After using it for one year, it randomly restarted 4-5 times in row. It will restart maybe once, or 10 times in a day. It is mostly restarting when I open camera app. Although this doesn't happen when I am charging the phone. It only happens when I am not charging the phone. There's also a sound issue where the sound freezes or is not audible when the volume is full. Again, it doesn't happen when I am charging the phone. I tried resetting the phone several times. Last week, I sent it to the shop. He first said that it's a battery issue and today he told me it's a motherboard issue and I need to replace the motherboard. My phone just lost warranty in January 2019. It will cost me 16k Rupees to fix my phone. I don't know if the shopkeeper is lying or not. Any help will be appreciated. Let me know if this issue is common in Nokia 8 and what should I do next. Thank you

    I would first try factory reset. If that doesn't help it could be motherboard issue.

    They can't do anything if it's a hardware failure and it really sounds like a hardware problem.

    Any hardware component can fail and only solution is replacement. In your case it could be motherboard or camera.

    I don't have in-depth knowledge about that, but I do know that practically everything in your phone is connected to the motherboard and when motherboard is malfunctioning any kind of strange behavior is possible. If you're asking this because you don't know if the shopkeeper is lying to you, I can tell you this: IMEI number is tied to the motherboard, so if he changes the motherboard he must provide you the new IMEI number.

    Thanks for the reply, I will just use it like this since it only happens when battery is low. Maybe I will check the hardware next time before the warranty expires.

    Same problem with my phone also Nokia 8. Is anyone got solution for this??....is it security patch problem

    Are you sure it's out of warranty, they give us 2 years warranty in the UK.

    Might be worth checking on the "My Phone" app.

    Same all problems after Feb update
    If many of us having this problem then it is definitely software issue

    It first started with the fast charging speed then, when I opened my camera it shuts down now it has gotten to all the apps I can't connect to the WiFi it restarts immediately, then for the recent days when I use mobile data and opens most of the apps the phone restarts. Even now I am only typing this by plugging on to my charger. Who knows that will also be not possible in the future . Disappointed Team Nokia. :'(

    I use Nokia 8 from oct 2017.... But last march update my mobile sometime auto restart and slow charge (thats means full charge need about 4-6 hour)

    How i can solve it.... I am  seriously worried
