March fix update delayed. Every month 18 or 19th day there was a update but now there is nothing. We are be alone with broken compass and weirdest camera recording quality forever i think.

    Ich stimme dir vollkommen zu. Samsungs Galaxy S9 / S9 Plus (auch die 8er) hat heute den MARCH-SECURITYPATCH erhalten, zusammen mit einem Update für die Kamera mit neuen Funktionen des S10 (letzter Aufruf für die "Niners").

    Und unser "Flaggschiff"? NICHTS !!! 😡

    When will be the next update because I having problem with my Nokia 8 since I updated my phone the problem came out, Everytime I turn on my wi fi my always restarting and restarting repeatedly. Please help me to fix this problem

    Bugs are a nuisance and therefore it is hard to be patient.

    An android site has just announced that the March security update has been released today for Nokia 8 and others. Security update only, they write. Let us hope for the best...

    No i dont make any reset of my phone since i have purshased it one year ago and it got all update and passed from android 7 to 8 to 9 beta and to 9 finnal without problem (except thoses already knows).

    Yes, I did a hard reset shortly after upgrading to Pie, mainly because the compass didn't work. I also had issues with location logging of my photos. The compass is still "broken" and my photos don't get tagged properly every time - knowing which city I take a photo in is no use me. I need to find where on the map each image was captured, to within 10 metres absolute max. That's what the 8 used to do in Oreo.

    To be honest after reading a few Nokia 9 reviews i don't feel too badly done to, i feel sorry for anyone that has parted with their cash on that thing.

    They had could read in this forum. The "9 Pure View" is only the Nokia 8, number two. 😜

    @wild50 Congratulations. When this is so in reality, you are the ONLIEST User, who has a Nokia 8 without the compass-problem. My 8 ("final" Pie, February-Security-Update) HAS this problem. 😪

    Could you tell us a bit more? How many apps have you tried? I have the February patch, too, but have the same problems as everybody else with every version of Pie from Beta to 5_140...

    It doesn't matter what app you use, it is the firmware that drives the hardware that is wrong.

    @wild50 : Try standing on one place, turn around slowly by 90 / 180 / 270 / 360 degrees and watch the needle flip ... whatever compass you use

    Thanks for the video, but I'm not convinced yet (too fast movements) ... please try:
    - calibrate the compass and
    - let it come to rest (!)
    - turn once (slowly!) by 90 degrees and let the compass come to rest again (!)
    - turn 90 degrees further, wait again, etc.
    - until you are once around.
    I am very curious ...
