4 days in and still no 8.1 update

Is this to be expected or should I do something to trigger the update?

Do not bother update shedule, it depends on few factors and one is probably SIM-dependency/location of distribution. I was waiting 5 weeks for 8.0 update, tried hundreds (really) of manual checks on WiFi/data switched on/off, Googles app memory clearing/reset, APNs from around the world, phone restarts, restaring with different provider SIM cards, even one factory reset. Currently I'm waiting for my Oreo 8.1 beta for about two or three weeks (site says 12h). Bought my TA-1004 in a day of twitter Oreo announcement (main reason + good price on Black Friday) from official reseller, one and only in my country as far as I know.

So don't bother, you will get your update.. someday...

Same to you. I want to Reset the phone.
Same here, TA-1012 with Vodafone Turkey. I received previous updates within first 24 hours, but this one is still missing. I'm still on 8.1 beta, should we avoid being beta testers in future updates? Nokia seems punishing beta testers!

I don't understand, i received update February very fast, but with android 8.1 I don't see it until now

If pushed, can not reach every customer in same time. Then you can provide firmware downloads. We are not afraid of trouble.Don't let consumers feel unfairly treated.Thinks.

I got the update by doing this:

- Go to Settings -> Apps & notifications -> All apps

- Open three dot menu in right upper corner -> Show system

- In the app list, find Google Services Framework and tap it open

- Press Storage and then Clear data

- Go and check for the 8.1 update

I got the update immediately after doing this :)

Didn't work for me either, cleared cache as well second time around.

Spark in New Zealand, strange as we had been receiving updates within 24 hours.

@Miikkelson It has been done in your own way, but it hasn't been updated yet.
