Some heat is normal and expected when rapidly charging. Quick Charge is a complex thing which depends on many factors and actively monitors the battery. It will usually be active when charging a battery which requires significant charge, and inactive at higher levels. Beyond that, heavy CPU activity is expected to generate significant heat. The phone has thermal monitoring and protection, automatically cutting CPU performance and charge rate when required. If you are not getting any alerts, it is probably not overheating and is probably fine. It can get quite hot before it is considered to be overheating, something like 40-50 centigrade (I'm not sure of the exact number, but I've seen roughly 40 in the device monitor and it was below max). Many websites have either bad JavaScript or cryptocurrency miners (generating extreme CPU load), so simple browsing can generate significant heat at times.
