Hi, Yesterday Morning I charged my phone to somewhere at 95% at 6:00 am and went off to work. In mere 8 hours, the phone battery dropped down to 8%. I still haven't figured pout what caused this. I'm attaching the screen shots taken when the battery was at 53% at 9:58am and the other at 8% at 2:04pm.
Has anyone else faced this issue?.
My guess, Google Play Services is the main culprit who is doing something in background. May be it is updating some files, always listening the outside sound from mic for 'ok google' tone. Camera may always running and waiting to see your face to unlock (do remember, even if it is in stand-by it will eat some power). One more observation, since the headphone is connected, looks like Poweramp is also feasting the battery here.
By the way, I didn't face this issue. Probably I stopped most of the apps in background.
One more important thing, mobile phones will consume more power in 'mobile data' than wi-fi. As much as possible try to use wi-fi to save power.
